InstallingtheKit

1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceandsettheparking

brake.Shutofftheengineandremovethekeyfrom

theignitionswitch.Applythecutting-unittransport

latches.

WARNING

Ifyouleavethekeyintheignitionswitch,

someonecouldaccidentlystartthemachine

andseriouslyinjureyouorotherbystanders.

Removethekeyfromtheignitionswitch

beforeyoudoanymaintenance.

2.Opentheenginecover.

3.Alignthe4holesintheblowercarrierwiththe4holes

inthechassisofthemachine(Figure1).

4.Securetheblowercarriertothemachinewith4bolts,8

largewashers,and4largelocknuts(Figure1).

5.Installtheexhaustshieldtotheblowercarrierwith

2capscrews,4smallwashers,and2smalllocknuts

(Figure2).

Park the machine on a level surface and set the parking brake. Shut off the engine and remove the key from the ignition switch. Apply the cutting-unit transport latches. 5. Install the exhaust shield to the blower carrier with 2 cap screws, 4 small washers, and 2 small locknuts (Figure 2).
