Procedure
1.Whilethemachineisonaatsurface,remove
theplugfromcalibrationconnectors(labeled
P05andP06).
2.Plugtheconnectorstogether.
3.TurntheignitionkeytotheONposition,butdo
notstarttheengine.
Note:TheLEDlightblinksasthesensor
calibrates.
4.Whenthelightnolongerblinks,turntheignition
keytotheOFFposition.
5.Disconnectthecalibrationconnectorsandinstall
theplugontotheconnectors.
Operation
UsingtheSlopeSensor
Whenyoustartthemachine,theLEDlightilluminates
for5secondstoindicatethatthesensorisfunctioning
properly.
Thelightandalarmindicatestheseverityoftheslope:
•Nolight—normaloperatingconditions
•Slow,ashinglight—moderateslope
•Fast,ashinglightandaudiblealarm—steep
slope;proceedtoamoreshallowslope.
WARNING
Slopesareamajorfactorrelatedto
loss-of-controlandtip-overaccidents,which
canresultinsevereinjuryordeath.
Useextremecautionwhenoperatingthe
machineonaslope.
