ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily
CAUTION
Ifsafetyinterlockswitchesaredisconnected
ordamaged,themachinecouldoperate
unexpectedly,causingpersonalinjury.
•Donottamperwiththeinterlockswitches.
•Checktheoperationoftheinterlock
switchesdailyandreplaceanydamaged
switchesbeforeoperatingthemachine.
Important:Ifyourmachinefailsanyofthe
interlockswitchchecks,contactyourauthorized
Torodistributor.
PreparingtheMachine
1.Drivethemachineslowlytoanopenarea.
2.Lowerthecuttingunits,shutofftheengine,and
engagetheparkingbrake.
CheckingtheTractionPedal
Start-Interlock
1.Sitintheoperator’sseat.
2.Engagetheparkingbrake.
3.Pressthecuttingunitdriveswitchtothe
DISENGAGEposition.
4.Pressthetractionpedal.
5.RotatethekeytotheSTARTposition.
Note:Thestartershouldnotcranktheengine
withthetractionpedalpressed.
CheckingtheCuttingUnitDrive
SwitchStart-Interlock
1.Sitintheoperator’sseat.
2.Engagetheparkingbrake.
3.PressthecuttingunitdriveswitchtotheENGAGE
position.
4.Keepyoufootoffthetractionpedal.
5.RotatethekeytotheSTARTposition.
Note:Thestartershouldnotcranktheengine
withthecuttingunitdriveswitchtotheENGAGE
position.
CheckingtheParkingBrakeand
SeatRun-Interlock
1.Sitintheoperator’sseat.
2.Engagetheparkingbrake.
3.Pressthecuttingunitdriveswitchtothe
DISENGAGEposition.
4.Keepyoufootoffthetractionpedal.
5.Starttheengine.
6.Disengagetheparkingbrake.
7.Riseofftheoperator’sseat.
Note:Theengineshouldshutoffifyouareout
oftheoperator’sseatandtheparkingbrakeis
disengaged.

TractionPedalRun-Interlock
1.Sitintheoperator’sseat.
2.Engagetheparkingbrake.
3.Pressthecuttingunitdriveswitchtothe
DISENGAGEposition.
4.Keepyoufootoffthetractionpedal.
5.Starttheengine.
6.Pressthetractionpedal.
Note:Theengineshouldshutoffiftheparking
brakeisENGAGEDandthetractionpedalis
pressed.
