2.Checkthetensionbydepressingthe
alternator/fanbeltmidwaybetweenthe
alternatorandcrankshaftpulleyswith30N∙m
(22ft-lb)offorce(Figure67).
Note:Thebeltshoulddeect11mm(7/16
inch).

alternatortothebrace.

theengineandpryoutonthealternator.
C.Whenyouachievetheproperbelttension,
tightenthealternatorandbraceboltsto
securetheadjustment.
ReplacingtheHydrostatDriveBelt
1.Insertanutdriverorsmallpieceoftubingonto
theendofthebelttensioningspring.
