Beforethecuttingunitsareloweredtotheshopoor
orremovedfromthetractionunit,lowertheshoproller
assembliestoprotectthereelandbedknifeblades
fromhardsurfacecontact.
Beforeoperatingthecuttingunits,installthemtothe
machine,raisethecuttingunits,andraisetheshop
rollerassembliestopreventthemfromtouchingthe
grassandinterferingwithoperation.
1.Removethecotterpinfromtheclevispinthat
securestheshoprollerbrackettothesideplate.
2.Positiontheshoprollerassemblyasneeded:
•Lowertheshoprollerbracketsbeforethe
cuttingunitisloweredtotheshopooror
removedfromthetractionunit(Figure13).
