Subject: Side Plate modification is required to install improved Bearing Housing.
The Original Bearing Housing, Part Number 93-8821, has been cross referenced to
improved Bearing Housing, Part Number 93-6930, however you will not be able to directly
install the part on the cutting units listed above unless the Side Plate is modified or replaced.
The housing profile was changed to improve grease-fitting access.
A modification instruction sheet is included with the improved Bearing Housing as part of the
cross-reference when the original part number is ordered.
Replacement Option Notes:
Modification is not needed when the Side Plate is replaced. Increased ground clearance at
the fittings of the hydraulic motor may also be achieved when the Side Plate is replaced at
the drive end. If replacement of a Side Plate is desired, order the appropriate Part Number
identified below.
Side Plate, Part Number 94-3697, is for the left end of the cutting unit.
Side Plate, Part Number 94-3695, is for the right end of the cutting unit.
