Subject: Replacing a Speedometer on Reelmaster 5000 and 6000 requires a harness
adaptation.
SITUATION: Reelmaster 5000 and 6000 speedometers will supercede to
speedometer kits. The installation of the kit requires the
Harness be permanently fitted with Wire Adapter (105-1246).
CORRECTION: Speedometers for Reelmaster 5000 and 6000 series tractors
have been discontinued and will be superceded to Speedometer
Kits. Speedometer Kits will contain a new speedometer, a Wire
Adapter (105-1246) and instructions. Any harness replacement
after the speedometer has been replaced will require the use of
the Wire Adapter (105-1246).
PARTS: Wire Adapter (105-1246) is currently available through normal
distribution channels.
