Subject: Availability of Turf Defender

Electronic Leak Detector Kit (03521).

The potential for hydraulic component failure exists on any hydraulically driven machine.

Failures may include the loss of hydraulic fluid, which could result in turf and/or equipment

damage. To minimize the damaging affects of a hydraulic leak, Turf Defender Electronic

Leak Detector Kit (03521) is now available for installation into the units listed above. This

device monitors the oil level and alerts the operator of a hydraulic fluid leak by emitting an

audible alarm and turning the reels off.

Installation of an Electronic Leak Detector Kit requires activation of the software in the

traction unit controller by a Toro distributor. The kit and assistance with installation are

available through your local Toro distributor.

NOTE: Hydraulic Tank Update Kit (03522) is required to install an Electronic Leak Detector

Kit on any machine with a serial number prior to 50999. The kit includes a

replacement tank, wire harness conversion, and instructions.
