Subject: Service parts for Fan-Bearing repairs have been improved.

The service parts for the Fan-Bearing and Housing have been improved. Housing

tolerances have been tightened, Spacers have an increase in mating-surface size and

material strength, and the Roll Pins have been changed to solid pins. These changes

were made to improve ease of service and to increase overall service life.

If repairs are performed to the Fan Bearings, use the improved Spacer (104-0001),

Thrust Washer (104-9259), and Pin (104-9312). Refer to the parts diagram below for

location of parts and other detail.



NOTE: Apply medium-strength

Loctite (242 or equivalent) to the

threads prior to installation.
