Subject: Performing repairs to Front Drive Axle and Bearing.

Axle parts used in later machines will retrofit to the units in the serial range listed above.

These parts enhance the durability and increase the capacity of the axle to withstand

higher load conditions. If you experience a failure in the front axle, you should consider

updating to the latest design. The Axle Assembly (92-9714) and Axle Housing (92-9704)

required to complete this update are identified in the illustration below. We recommend

that both sides be converted when performing this repair. Parts are available through your

local Toro distributor.
