Installation 1 Preparing the Machine No Parts Required Procedure 1. Park the machine on a level surface, engage the parking brake, lower the cutting units, shut off the engine, and remove the key. 2. If there are lights on the roll bar posts, remove the lights and mounting hardware from the roll bar posts (Figure 2).

Procedure Note: Refer to Figure 2 as you perform the following steps. Important: When you initially install components, tighten the fasteners, then loosen them a half turn; you will tighten them in step 11. 1. Install the front mount onto the floor panel with hex-head flange bolts (3/8 x 1 inch) and flange nuts (3/8 inch) from the kit (Box A of Figure 3).
2. Install the rear roof mount onto the upper part of the roll bar with upper channel mounts, hex-head flange bolts (5/16 x 3/4 inch), and flange nuts (5/16 inch) (Box B of Figure 3). Note: Ensure that the mount is centered on the roll bar. 3. Install the left and right braces onto the left and right sides of the front mount, respectively, with hex-head flange bolts (5/16 x 3/4 inch) and flange nuts (5/16 inch) (Box C of Figure 3). 4.
