LubricatingtheVerticutter

Eachverticutterhas5greasettings(Figure13)that

mustbelubricatedweeklywithNo.2lithiumgrease.

Thelubricationpointsarethefrontroller(2),therear

roller(2),andthereelmotorsplines(1).

Important:Lubricatingthecuttingunits

immediatelyafterwashinghelpspurgewaterout

ofthebearingsandincreasesbearinglife.

1.Wipeeachgreasettingwithacleanrag.

2.Applygreaseuntilyouseecleangreasecoming

outoftherollersealsandthebearingreliefvalve

(Figure13).
