RemovingtheVerticutter
BladesfromtheShaft
1.Securetheendoftheverticuttershaft,which
hasonlyonewasherandnut,inavise.
2.Onotherendofshaft,rotatethenut
counter-clockwiseandremovethenut.
CAUTION
Thebladesareextremelysharpandmay
haveburrsthatwillcutyourhands.
Wearglovesandusecautionwhen
removingthebladesfromtheshaft.
3.Removethesmallspacer(s),thewasher(Model
03619only),theblades,andthelargespacers.
Cleanandlubricatethehexorsquareshaftwith
alightcoatingofgreaseforeaseofassembly
(Figure15orFigure14).
