1.Adjusttherearrollerbrackets(Figure12)tothe
desiredheight-of-cutrangebypositioningthe
requiredamountofspacersbelowtheside-plate
mountingange(Figure12)pertheHOCChart.

iscontrolledbythemachiningtolerancesofthe
assembledcomponents;therefore,parallelingis
notrequired.Alimitedamountofadjustmentis
possiblebysettingthecuttingunitonasurface
plateandlooseningtheside-platemountingcap
screws(Figure13).Adjustandtightenthecap
screws.T orquethecapscrewsto37to45N-m
(27to33ft-lb).

Theturf-compensationspringtransferstheweight
fromthefronttotherearroller.Thishelpstoreduce
awavepatternintheturf,alsoknownasmarcelling
orbobbing.
Important:Makespringadjustmentswiththe
cuttingunitmountedtothetractionunit,pointing
straightaheadandloweredtotheshopoor.

therearholeinthespringrod(Figure14).
