InspectingtheCuttingUnit
Partsneededforthisprocedure:

Procedure
Afterthecuttingunitisremovedfromthebox,inspect
thefollowing:
1.Checkeachendofthereelforgrease.
Note:Greaseshouldbevisiblyevidentinthe
internalsplinesofthereelshaft.
2.Ensurethatallnutsandboltsaresecurely
tightened.
3.Makesurethatthecarrier-framesuspension
operatesfreelyanddoesnotbindwhenmoved
backandforth.

Wheneverthecuttingunithastobetippedtoexpose
thebedknife/reel,propuptherearofthecuttingunit
withthekickstand(suppliedwiththetractionunit)to
makesurethatthenutsonthebackendofthebedbar
adjustingscrewsarenotrestingontheworksurface
(Figure3).
