TheReelmaster5010machinesuseaT oroElectronicController(TEC)to
managethemachineelectricalfunctions.Thecontrollerisamicroprocessor
controlleddevicethatmonitorstheconditionofvariousswitchesandsensors
(inputs)andthendirectselectricalpowertocontroltheappropriatemachine
functions(outputs)basedontheinputs.CommunicationbetweentheTEC,
InfoCenterdisplay,andengineECU(ifequipped)isprovidedbyaCAN-bus
system.Thestatusofinputstothecontrolleraswellasoutputsfromthe
controllerscanbemonitoredwiththeInfoCenterdisplay.
TheTECislocatedbehindthecontrolarmaccesscovernexttothefuseblock.
IMPORTANT
Beforeperforminganyweldingonthemachine,dothefollowingto
preventdamagingtheelectricalsystemofthemachine:
•Disconnectthebatterycablesfromthebattery.
•DisconnectthewireharnessconnectorfromtheT oroElectronicController.
•DisconnectthewireharnessconnectorsfromtheengineECU.
•Disconnecttheterminalconnectorfromthealternator.
CAN-busCommunications
TheTEC,YanmarengineECU(ifequipped),andInfoCenterdisplayusedonthe
Reelmaster5010machinescommunicatewitheachotheronaCAN-bussystem.
Thissystemallowsthetractionunittofullyintegrateallthedifferentelectrical
Reelmaster
