The2microswitchesforthejoystickarelocatedonthelowermow/raiselever
thatisattachedtothecontrolarm(Figure244).Whenthejoystickispushed
forward,therearswitchonthecontrolisusedtolower(andengage)thecutting
units.Whenthejoystickispulledbackward,thefrontswitchisusedtoraise(and
disengage)thecuttingunits(Figure245).Theswitchesareidentical.Anormally
opencontactintheswitchcloseswhenthejoystickispositionedtoeitherlower
orraisethecuttingunitsEachswitchhasanelectricalconnectortoensurethe
normallyclosedcontactontheswitchisnotused.Theraiseswitchhaspink/blue
andblackharnesswiresconnectedtoitandthelowerswitchhasorange/white
andblackharnesswiresconnectedtoit.
TheT oroElectronicController(TEC)monitorsthepositionofthenormallyopen
lower/raiseswitches.Thelower/raisejoystickswitchesareinputsusedbythe
TECtomanagevariousmachinefunctions.
