thesurfacecharge.Waitfor10minutesbeforeproceedingwithloadtest.
F.Applyatestloadof270A(1/2thecrankingperformanceratingofthe
battery)for15seconds.
G.Aftertestloadhasbeenappliedfor15seconds,takeatestvoltage
readingandthenremovetheload.Recordthetestvoltagereading.
H.UsetheMinimumVoltageT able(page7–129),determinetheminimum
voltageforthecentercellelectrolytetemperaturereading.

followingslowchargingprocedure.Youcandothischargingprocedurewitha
constantcurrentbatterychargerthatislocallyavailable.
IMPORTANT
Followthemanufacturer'sinstructionswhenusingabatterycharger.
Note:Usingspecicgravityofthebatterycellsisthemostaccurateprocedure
ofdeterminingthebatterycondition.
