CAUTION
Beforeopeninghydraulicsystem,operateallhydrauliccontrolsto
relievesystempressureandavoidinjuryfrompressurizedhydraulic
uid;refertoReleasingPressurefromtheHydraulicSystem(page
6–8).

ofgearpumpttingandhydraulicoutlethose.Disconnecthosefrompump
tting:
Pumpsection(P1)forrearcuttingunits
Pumpsection(P2)forfrontcuttingunits
IMPORTANT
Ensurethattheuidowindicatorarrowontheowgaugeis
showingthattheuidwillowfromthegearpump,throughthe
testerandintothehose.
5.Installtesterwithpressuregaugeandowmeterinseriesbetween
disconnectedhoseandgearpumptting.Ensurethattheowcontrolvalve
ontesterisfullyopen.
6.Afterinstallingtester,startengine,andrunatidlespeed.Checkforany
hydraulicleakagefromtestconnectionsandcorrectbeforeproceedingwith
test.
7.Ensurethatthehydraulicuidisatnormaloperatingtemperatureby
operatingthemachineunderloadforapproximately10minutes.
8.Ensurethattheparkingbrakeisengaged.Increaseenginespeedtohighidle
speed(3,000rpm).Donotengagethecuttingunits.Useatachometerto
verifythatenginespeediscorrect.
