TestProcedure
1.Determinewhichcuttingreelmotorneedstobetestedbyobservingthe
machineduringmowing.
2.Parkmachineonalevelsurfacewiththecuttingunitsloweredandreel
engageswitchOFF.Ensurethattheengineisshutoffandmow/transport
leverisinMOW.Applytheparkingbrake.
3.ReadallWarning,Cautions,andprecautionslistedatthebeginningofthis
section.
CAUTION
Beforeopeninghydraulicsystem,operateallhydrauliccontrolsto
relievesystempressureandavoidinjuryfrompressurizedhydraulic
uid;refertoReleasingPressurefromtheHydraulicSystem(page
6–8).

allmotorsinthecircuitmayhavetobetestedbystartingwiththeupstream

Ensurethatthemow/backlapleveronmowcontrolmanifoldisintheMOW
position.
6.Withcuttingunitsinloweredpositionandengineshutoff,insertablockof
woodbetweencuttingunitreelbladesandcarrierframeofcuttingunitbeing
testedtopreventreelfromturning(Figure99).
7.Startengineandrunatlowidlespeed.Checkforanyhydraulicleakagefrom
testconnectionsandcorrectbeforeproceedingwithtest.
