Whileperformingthistest,holdlower-mow/raiseleverintheRAISE
positiononlylongenoughtogetasystempressurereading.Holding
theleverinraiseforanextendedperiodmaydamagesystem
components.
8.EnsurethatthereelengageswitchisOFFandthenpulllower-mow/raise
leverrearwardtopressurizeliftcircuit.Whileholdingleverintheraise
(rearward)position,watchpressuregaugecarefully.Asthecuttingunitsfully
raiseandtheliftreliefvalvelifts,systempressureshouldbe—approximately
13,800kPa(2,000psi).
9.Returnthelower-mow/raiselevertotheneutralpositionandshutoffthe
engine.Recordtestresults.
10.Ifmeasuredpressureisincorrect,removesolenoidreliefvalve(SVRV)
onliftcontrolmanifoldandcleanorreplacevalve;refertoServicingthe
LiftControlManifold(page6–197).Also,ifpressureislow,checkfor
restrictioninpumpintakeline.Internalliftcylinderleakagewouldalso
causelowliftcircuitpressure;refertoLiftCylinderInternalLeakageTest
(5410/5410-G/5410-D/5510/5510-G/5510-D/5610)(page6–92).Gearpump
(P4)couldalsobesuspectedofwear,damage,orinefciency.
11.Aftertestingiscompleted,ensurethattheengineisshutoff,thenrelieve
hydraulicsystempressure;refertoReleasingPressurefromtheHydraulic
System(page6–8).Disconnectpressuregaugefromliftcontrolmanifold
testport.
