CAUTION
Contactwiththereel,bedknifeorothercuttingunitpartscanresult
inpersonalinjury.Useheavygloveswhenremovingthecuttingreel.
IMPORTANT
Ifthereelbearingsorsealsarebeingreplaced,thereelsplineinserts
mustberemoved.Usethefollowingproceduretorestrainthereel
andloosenthesplineinsertbeforeremovingtherollers.
4.Loosenthesplineinserts:
A.Tipthecuttingunittoaccessthebottomofthereel.

B.Insertalong-handledprybar(3/8x12inchwithscrewdriverhandle
recommended)throughthebottomofthecuttingunit.Theprybarshould
passbetweenthetopofthereelshaftandthebacksofthereelbladesso
thatthereelwillnotmove.
IMPORTANT
Toavoidgrindingthereel,donotcontactthecuttingedgeof
anybladewiththeprybarasthismaydamagethecuttingedge
and/orcauseahighblade.
C.Movetheprybaragainsttheweldsideofthereelsupportplateclosest
tothesplineinsertbeingloosened.Usecorrectsplineinserttool(see
SpecialT ools(page9–5)).
