MaintenanceSafety
•Beforeyouleavetheoperator’sposition,dothe
following:
–Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
–Disengageandlowerthecuttingunits.
–Engagetheparkingbrake.
–Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
–Waitforallmovementtostop.
–Allowthemachinetocoolbeforeadjusting,
servicing,cleaning,orstoringit.
•Allowmachinecomponentstocoolbeforeperforming
maintenance.
•Ifpossible,donotperformmaintenancewhilethe
engineisrunning.Keepawayfrommovingparts.
•Supportthemachinewithjackstandswheneveryou
workunderthemachine.
•Carefullyreleasepressurefromcomponentswith
storedenergy.
•Keepallpartsofthemachineingoodworkingcondition
andallhardwaretightened.
•Replaceallwornordamageddecals.
•Toensuresafe,optimalperformanceofthemachine,
useonlygenuineTororeplacementparts.Replacement
partsmadebyothermanufacturerscouldbedangerous,
andsuchusecouldvoidtheproductwarranty.
