thebeltmidwaybetweenthepulleys.
1.Ifthedeectionisnot10mm(3/8inch),loosen
thealternatormountingbolts(Figure87).

Ifuidbecomescontaminated,contactyourToro
Distributorbecausethesystemmustbeushed.
Contaminateduidlooksmilkyorblackwhen
comparedtocleanoil.
1.Shutofftheengineandraisethehood.
Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthe
cuttingunitstotheground,shutofftheengine,
andremovethekey.
2.Placealargedrainpanunderthettingsecured
tothebottomofthehydraulic-uidreservoir
(Figure88).

3.Disconnectthehosefromthebottomofthe
ttingandletthehydraulicuidowintothe
drainpan.
4.Installthehosewhenhydraulicuidstops
draining.
5.Fillthereservoirwithapproximately30L(8US
gallons)ofhydraulicuid;refertoCheckingthe
HydraulicFluid(page30).
Important:Useonlyhydraulicuids
specied.Otheruidscoulddamagethe
system.
6.Installthereservoircap.
