Checktheconditionandtensionofthebelt(Figure
85)afterevery100operatinghours.
1.Propertensionwillallow10mm(3/8inch)
deectionwhenaforceof44N(10lb)isapplied
onthebeltmidwaybetweenthepulleys.
2.Ifthedeectionisnot10mm(3/8inch),loosen
thealternatormountingbolts(Figure85).
Increaseordecreasethealternatorbelttension
andtightenthebolts.Checkthedeectionofthe
beltagaintoensurethatthetensioniscorrect.

Changehydraulicuidafterevery800operating
hours,innormalconditions.Ifuidbecomes
contaminated,contactyourlocalT orodistributor
becausethesystemmustbeushed.Contaminated
uidlooksmilkyorblackwhencomparedtocleanoil.
1.Stoptheengineandraisethehood.
2.Placealargedrainpanunderthettingsecured
tothebottomofthehydraulicuidreservoir
(Figure86).

3.Disconnectthehosefromthebottomofthe
ttingandletthehydraulicuidowintothe
drainpan.
4.Installthehosewhenhydraulicuidstops
draining.
5.Fillthereservoirwithapproximately30liters(8
U.S.gallons)ofhydraulicuid;refertoChecking
theHydraulicFluid.
Important:Useonlyhydraulicuids
specied.Otheruidscouldcausesystem
damage.
6.Installthereservoircap.
7.Starttheengineanduseallofthehydraulic
controlstodistributehydraulicuidthroughout
thesystem.Alsocheckforleaks.
8.Stoptheengine.
