(27to33ft-lb).Tightenthelocknutsuntilthe
outsidesteelwasherstopsrotatingandendplay
isremoved,butdonotovertightenordeect
thesideplates.Thewashersontheinsidemay
haveagap.
5.Tightenthespring-tensionnutuntilthespringis
collapsed,thenbackoff1/2turn(Figure40).
