Subject: High height of cut assembly techniques to prevent bending.
An optional larger Cone Nut (92-9249) is now available for the front Roller Adjuster
Assemblies. The additional length of the Cone Nut offers increased strength to the front
Roller Adjuster threaded shafts and prevents shaft bending when cutting at 1-1/4" (32 mm)
or higher. Cone Nut (92-9249) is available through your local Toro distributor. Use of this
technique is described below.
Front Roller Adjustment Nut Placement
For Reelmaster 335-D/3500-D and 450-D/4500-D
Use Large Cone Nut (92-9249) on bottom of Collar when H.O.C. is 1-1/4" (32 mm) or greater.
Use Small Cone Nut (59-5820) on the bottom when the H.O.C. is less than 1-1/4 inches.
