Procedure
Theturf-compensationspring(Figure21)transferstheweight
fromthefronttotherearroller.Thishelpstoreduceawave
patternintheturf,alsoknownasmarcellingorbobbing.
Important:Makespringadjustmentswiththecutting
unitmountedtothetractionunit,pointingstraight
aheadandloweredtotheshopoor.
1.Makesurethatthehairpincotterisinstalledintherear
holeinthespringrod(Figure21).
Note:Whenservicingthecuttingunit,movethe
hairpincottertothespring-rodholenexttothe
turf-compensationspring.
