Every800hours(oryearly,whichevercomesrst).
Changetheoilinitiallyafterrst200hoursofoperation.
Thereafter,changetheoilevery800hours,oryearly,
whicheveroccursrst.Useahigh-qualitySAE85W-140gear
lubeasareplacement.
1.Withthemachineonalevelsurface,positionawheel
sothat1ofthecheckplugsisatthelowest(6o'clock)
position(Figure66).

plug,andallowtheoiltodrain.
3.Placeadrainpanunderthebrakehousing,removethe
drainplug,andallowtheoiltodrain(Figure67).

installthepluginthebrakehousing.
5.Rotatethewheeluntiltheopenplugholeinthe
planetaryisatthe12o'clockposition.

0.65liters(22ounces)ofhighqualitySAE85W-140
wt.gearlube.
Important:Iftheplanetaryllsbeforethe
0.65liters(22ounces)ofoilisadded,waitone
hourorinstalltheplugandmovethemachine
approximatelytenfeettodistributetheoilthrough
thebrakesystem.Then,removetheplugandadd
theremainingoil.
7.Installtheplug.
8.Repeattheprocedureontheoppositeplanetary/brake
assembly.
CheckingtheOilLevelofthe
RearAxle
ServiceInterval:Every400hours
TherearaxleisshippedfromthefactorylledwithSAE
85W-140gearlube.Checktheoillevelbeforetheengineis
rststartedandevery400hoursthereafter.Thecapacityis
2.4L(80oz).Visuallyinspectforleaksdaily.
1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Removeacheckplugfrom1endoftheaxle(Figure
68)andmakesurethattheoilisuptothebottomof
thehole.Ifthelevelislow,removethellplug(Figure
68)andaddenoughoiltobringtheleveluptothe
bottomofthecheck-plugholes.
