Subject: Lift Arm Pivot Pin Capscrew Loosens or Backs Out
Pivot Pin (98-3725) and Nylock Nut (3296-49) are now available for replacement
purposes, which eliminates the capscrew used in the original design. The replacement Pin
features a stronger retainer Tab to better resist Pin rotation and has an increased length to
allow for the threads of the Nylock Nut.
The Pivot Pin and Nylock Nut combination is a direct replacement for the original Pivot
Pin. During installation, tighten the Nylock Nut sufficiently to remove Pivot Pin freeplay
and movement. Avoid any over-tightening that might cause binding of the lift arm in the
frame.
Pivot Pin (98-3725) and Nut (3296-49) are available through your local Toro distributor.
