Subject: Worn frame hole for Lift Arm Pivot Pins.
If the Lift Arm Pivot Pins do not receive adequate lubrication, the Lift Arm bushings may
seize to the Pin and force the Pin to rotate as the Lift Arm raises and lowers. Should this
occur, excess Lift Arm movement, Pivot Pin retainer damage and frame mounting hole
wear may result.
Pivot Pin Kit (98-2435) is now available for repair of a worn frame-mounting hole. This kit
includes a longer replacement Pivot Pin, a reinforcing mounting plate and a reinforcing
washer that is welded over the worn holes in the frame sections. Pivot Pin Kit (98-2435) is
available through your local Toro distributor. Installation instructions are included with
each Kit.
