Subject: Peugeot XUD9 Cylinder Head Gasket change.
Four (4) Head Gasket thickness options are available and replace all previous Head
Gasket selections. These gaskets provide a greater variety of thickness options when
choosing replacement Head Gaskets to ensure that proper engine specifications are
maintained during engine repairs.
When selecting a replacement Head Gasket, always refer to the engine repair section
in the proper Service Manual for measurement procedures to determine correct Head
Gasket thickness. Use this information and the Gasket selection chart below to
determine the correct replacement gasket.
HEAD GASKET SELECTION CHART
for all Peugeot XUD9 Series Engines
Refer to the Engine Repair section in the proper Service Manual. Follow the instructions listed
under Cylinder Head Gasket Selection. Determine Piston protrusion and select the appropriate
replacement Gasket from the Chart below. The chart in the original Service Manuals are no
longer valid.
