TractionPedal
Thetractionpedal(Figure21)controlsforwardandreverse
operation.Depresstopofpedaltomoveforwardandbottom
tomovebackward.Groundspeeddependsonhowfarpedal
isdepressed.Fornoload,maximumgroundspeed,fully
depresspedalwhilethrottleisinFAST.
Tostop,reducefootpressureontractionpedalandallowit
toreturntocenterposition.

Presettheforwardspeedlimiter(Figure21)tolimitthe
amountthetractionpedalcanbedepressedintheforward
directiontomaintainaconstantmowingspeed.
RedDiagnosticLight
Thereddiagnosticlight(Figure21),locatedonsteering
tower,isusedtoconveyseveraldifferentmessages.While
startingthemachine,thelightwillilluminatewhentheglow
plugsareon.
Ifthelightblinksduringoperation,itmayindicateanyof
thefollowing:
•Themachineisbeingoperatedfasterthanthemaximum
speedvalueinitiallyprogrammedintotheECU.
•Anelectricalmalfunctionhasbeendetected(openor
shortedoutput.
•Ahydraulicleakhasbeendetected(OnlyifTurfdefender
leakdetectorisinstalledonmachine)
•Acommunicationserrorhasbeendetected(Onlyif
Turfdefenderleakdetectorisinstalledonmachine)
KeySwitch
Thekeyswitch(Figure21)hasthreepositions:OFF ,
ON/PreheatandSTART.
Speedometer
Thespeedometer(Figure21)indicatesgroundspeedatwhich
machineistraveling.
BrakePedals
Twobrakepedals(Figure21)operateindividualwheelbrakes
forturningassistance,parking,andtoaidinobtainingbetter
sidehilltraction.Lockingpinconnectsthepedalsforparking
brakeoperationandtransport.
ParkingBrakeLatch
Aknobontheleftsideofconsoleactuatesparkingbrakelock
(Figure21).Toengageparkingbrake,connectpedalswith
lockingpin,pushdownonbothpedalsandpullparkingbrake
latchout.Toreleaseparkingbrake,depressbothpedalsuntil
parkingbrakelatchretracts.
ReverseSpeedLimiter
Adjustthescrew(Figure21)tolimittheamountthetraction
pedalcanbedepressedintherearwarddirectiontolimit
speed.
LowerMow/RaiseControlLever
(Joystick)
Thelever(Figure22andFigure23)raisesandlowersthe
cuttingunitsandalsostartsandstopsthereels.
FuelGauge
Thefuelgauge(Figure22andFigure23)indicateslevelof
fuelintank.
EngineOilPressureWarningLight
Thislight(Figure22andFigure23)indicatesdangerously
lowengineoilpressure.
