ChangingtheHydraulicFluid
ServiceInterval:Every800hours
Changehydraulicuidafterevery800operatinghours,in
normalconditions.Ifuidbecomescontaminated,contact
yourlocalTorodistributorbecausethesystemmustbe
ushed.Contaminateduidlooksmilkyorblackwhen
comparedtocleanoil.
1.Turnengineoffandraisehood.
2.Removedrainplugfrombottomofreservoir(Figure
74)andlethydraulicuidowintodrainpan.Install
andtightenplugwhenhydraulicuidstopsdraining.

3.Fillreservoirwithapproximately32liters(8.5gallons)
ofhydraulicuid;refertoCheckingtheHydraulic
Fluid.
Important:Useonlyhydraulicuidsspecied.
Otheruidscouldcausesystemdamage.
4.Installreservoircap.Startengineanduseallhydraulic
controlstodistributehydraulicuidthroughoutthe
system.Alsocheckforleaks.Thenstoptheengine.
5.Checklevelofuidandaddenoughtoraiselevelto
Fullmarkondipstick.Donotoverll.
ReplacingtheHydraulicFilter
Thehydraulicsystemlterheadisequippedwithaservice
intervalindicator.Withtheenginerunning,viewtheindicator,
itshouldbeintheGREENzone.Whentheindicatorisin
theREDzone,thelterelementshouldbechanged.
UsetheTororeplacementlter(PartNo.94-2621).
Important:Useofanyotherltermayvoidthewarranty
onsomecomponents.
1.Positionmachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecutting
units,stoptheengine,engagetheparkingbrakesand
removekeyfromignitionswitch.
2.Cleanareaaroundltermountingarea.Placedrainpan
underlterandremovelter(Figure75).

4.Ensurethattheltermountingareaisclean.Screw
lteronuntilgasketcontactsmountingplate.Then
tightenlter1/2turn.
5.Startengineandletrunforabouttwominutestopurge
airfromthesystem.Stoptheengineandcheckfor
leaks.
CheckingtheHydraulicLines
andHoses
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily
Inspecthydrauliclinesandhosesdailyforleaks,kinked
lines,loosemountingsupports,wear,loosettings,weather
deteriorationandchemicaldeterioration.Makeallnecessary
repairsbeforeoperating.
