AdjustingtheThrottle
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthe
cuttingunits,engagetheparkingbrake,shutoff
theengine,andremovethekeyfromtheignition
switch.
2.Positionthethrottleleverrearwardsothatit
stopsagainstthecontrolpanelslot.
3.Loosenthethrottlecableconnectoronthe
injectionpumpleverarm(Figure79).

4.Holdtheinjectionpumpleverarmagainstthe
lowidlestopandtightenthecableconnector.
5.Loosenthescrewssecuringthethrottlecontrol
tothecontrolpanel.
6.Pushthethrottlecontrolleveralloftheway
forward.
7.Slidethestopplateuntilitcontactsthethrottle
leverandtightenthescrewssecuringthethrottle
controltothecontrolpanel.
8.Ifthethrottledoesnotstayinpositionduring
operation,torquethelocknut,usedtosetthe
frictiondeviceonthethrottlelever,to5to6N∙m
(44to53in-lb).
Note:Themaximumforcerequiredtooperate
thethrottlelevershouldbe89N(20lb).

•Seekimmediatemedicalattentionifuidisinjected
intoskin.Injecteduidmustbesurgicallyremoved
withinafewhoursbyadoctor.
•Ensurethatallhydraulic-uidhosesandlinesare
ingoodconditionandallhydraulicconnections
andttingsaretightbeforeapplyingpressureto
thehydraulicsystem.
•Keepyourbodyandhandsawayfrompinhole
leaksornozzlesthatejecthigh-pressurehydraulic
uid.
•Usecardboardorpapertondhydraulicleaks.
•Safelyrelieveallpressureinthehydraulicsystem
beforeperforminganyworkonthehydraulic
system.
CheckingtheHydraulic
LinesandHoses
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily
Checkthehydrauliclinesandhosesforleaks,kinked
lines,loosemountingsupports,wear,loosettings,
weatherdeterioration,andchemicaldeterioration.
Makeallnecessaryrepairsbeforeoperating.

ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily—Check
thelevelofthehydraulicuid.
Thereservoirislledatthefactorywithhigh-quality
hydraulicuid.Thebesttimetocheckthehydraulic
oiliswhentheuidiscold.Themachineshouldbein
itstransportconguration.
