9.Ifthecuttingunitsstallorbecomeerraticwhile
backlapping,selectahigherreelspeedsetting
untilthespeedstabilizes,thenreturnthereel
speedtosetting1ortoyourdesiredspeed.
10.Tomakeanadjustmenttothecuttingunitswhile
backlapping,turnthecuttingunitsoffbymoving
theLowerMow/Raiseleverrearward;the
Enable/DisableswitchtotheDISABLEposition,
andshutofftheengine.Aftercompletingthe
adjustments,repeatsteps5through9.
11.Repeattheprocedureforallthecuttingunits
thatyouwanttobacklap.
12.Whenyouarenished,returnthebacklaplever
totheMOWposition,lowertheoorpanel,and
washalllappingcompoundoffofthecutting
units.Adjustthecuttingunitreel-to-bedknife
contactasneeded.Movethecuttingunitreel
speedcontroltothedesiredmowingposition.
Important:Ifthebacklapswitchisnot
returnedtotheF(MOW)positionafter
backlapping,thecuttingunitswillnotraise
orfunctionproperly.
Note:Forabettercuttingedge,runaleacross
thefrontfaceofthebedknifeafterlapping.This
removesanyburrsorroughedgesthatmay
havebuiltuponthecuttingedge.
Cleaning
WashingtheMachine
Washthemachineasneededusingwateralone
orwithamilddetergent.Youmayusearagwhen
washingthemachine.
Important:Donotusebrackishorreclaimed
watertocleanthemachine.
Important:Donotusepower-washingequipment
towashthemachine.Power-washingequipment
maydamagetheelectricalsystem,loosen
importantdecals,orwashawaynecessarygrease
atfrictionpoints.Avoidexcessiveuseofwater
nearthecontrolpanel,engine,andbattery.
Important:Donotwashthemachinewiththe
enginerunning.Washingthemachinewiththe
enginerunningmayresultininternalengine
damage.
