Subject: Cutting Unit Pivot Bumpers fall out.
A locking tab style Cutting Unit Pivot Bumper (93-9173) is now available to replace the
discontinued adhesive style Bumper. Holes must be drilled in the Frame to install the
locking tab style Bumpers on the units listed above. The diagram and installation
instructions below describe the procedures required. Parts are available through your local
Toro distributor.
Locking Tab Style Pivot Bumper Installation
1. Lower cutting units to the ground. Stop engine, remove Key and set Parking Brake.
2. Using the dimensions supplied on the diagram below, mark the two hole positions at each cutting
unit frame and drill holes.
3. Insert Bumper into hole and pull locking tab through hole until it locks in place.
