Subject: Availability of complete hose replacement kits.

During normal operation the cutting unit hoses experience twisting, bending, high

pressures and abrasion. When subjected to these stresses a hose will eventually

weaken and become a leak risk. It is important to routinely inspect for damaged hoses

and replace them before a failure causes turf damage. Two years is the recommended

service replacement interval for cutting unit hydraulic hoses. In areas of high product

usage (1000 hrs. or more per year), severe usage, or where a leak would severely

impact course operations, you may wish to consider replacement of these hoses on an

annual basis. Hydraulic Hose Replacement Kits are available to conveniently order all

cutting unit hydraulic hoses under one part number. Hydraulic Hose Servicing Manual

(Form 94-813-SL) is also available and includes additional details about hose care and

failure analysis. The manual and Hose Kit are available through your local Toro

distributor.

5000 Series Kits

Kit (93-2560): for models 03500 through 03530 with serial numbers of 00000 - 59999.

Kit (98-9761): for models 03500 through 03544 with serial numbers of 60000 - 200009999.

Kit (104-9314)*: for models 03550 and 03551 All serial numbers.

Kit (104-9317)*: for models 03540 through 03544 with serial numbers of 210000101 -

210000500.

Note: Can be used for models 03502 through 03544 with serial

numbers between 60000 and 200009999 but will require different

retainer loops as described in kit literature.

6000 Series Kits

Kit (105-0139)*: for the five main cutting units on models 03800 through 03808 All

Serial numbers.

Kit (105-0140)*: for the Rear two cutting units (wings) on models 03803, 03805 and

03808 All serial numbers.

*NOTE: These kits may also apply to future units if the hose part numbers remain

unchanged.
