Usethefollowingprocedureiftheswitchneeds
adjustmentorreplacement.
1.Makesuretheengineisoffandtractionleveris
Disengaged.
2.Engagetractionleveruntilitcontactsneutralstop
(Figure29).

Recheckgap.Thetractionlevermustnotcontact
theswitch.
6.Engagetractionleverandverifythattheswitchloses
continuity.Replaceifrequired.

ServiceInterval:Every50hours
Thetransmissionislledatthefactorywith
approximately94uidouncesofMobilDexronlll
automatictransmissionuid.
Note:Thesealsusedinthetransmissionareinternally
lubricatedwithgrease.Duringinitialoperationof
mower,slightweepingofgreasefromthesesealswill
occur.Wipeoffexcessgrease.
Important:UseonlyMobilDexronlllorequivalent
transmissionuids.Otheruidscouldcause
systemdamage.
1.Placethemoweronitsdrumsonalevelsurface.
2.Removethecheck/llplugfromtheright-handside
ofthetransmission(Figure30).
Theoillevelshouldcometothebottomofthell
hole.Ifitdoesnot,addenoughoftheproperoil
typeuntilthelevelreachesthebottomofthellhole.
