transmissionuids.Otheruidscouldcause
systemdamage.
1.Placeadrainpanattherearofthemachine.
2.Removethedrainplugfromtherearofthe
transmission(Figure35).

3.Pushdownonthehandleandtipthemachineback.
Removethecheckplugfromtheright-handsideof
thetransmission(Figure35).
4.Whentheuidisdrained,installthedrainplug.
5.Placethemoweronitsdrumsonalevelsurface.
6.Removethellplugfromthetopofthetransmission
(Figure35).Donotremovetheventpipe.
7.Fillthetransmissionwithapproximately94uid
ouncesofthepropertypeoftransmissionuiduntil
thelevelreachesthebottomofthecheckhole;refer
toCheckingtheTransmissionFluid.
8.Installthellandcheckplugs.

Brake
Ifservice/parkbrakeslipswhenoperated,anadjustment
isrequired.
1.Moveservice/parkingbrakelevertoOffposition.
2.Toincreasecabletension,loosenfrontcablejamnut
andtightenbackcablejamnut(Figure36)untila
forceof11–14lb.isrequiredtoengagebrake.Force
tobemeasuredatleverknob.Donotoveradjust,
orbrakebandmaydrag.
