Iftractioncontroldoesnotengageoritslipsduring
operation,anadjustmentisrequired.
1.MovetractioncontroltoDisengagedposition.
2.Toincreasecabletension,loosenfrontcablejam
nutandtightenbackcablejamnut(Figure49)until
aforceof10-13lb.isrequiredtoengagetraction
control.
Measuretheforceatthecontrolknob.

andtightenbackcablejamnut(Figure50)(located
ontopofgearbox)untilthereelcableforceadds7
to10lbs.ofadditionalhandleforcemeasuredatthe
controlknob.
Note:Iftractioncontrolhandleforceis12lbs.,the
combinedtractionandreelforceshouldbe19to
22lbs.
