walk-behindGreensmastermachinesonly.Towing
incompatibleproductscanresultindamageto
thetrailerand/oroperator.RefertoCompatible

machines.
•Useonlyavehiclewiththepropertowrating.The
TransPro200trailerand2greensmowersweigh
approximately1,150lb(522kg).Ensurethatthe
towvehiclehasadequatebrakingandhandling
capacitybycheckingtherecommendationsofthe
vehiclemanufacturer
•Ensurethatthetrailerisproperlyconnectedto
thetowvehiclebeforeloadingorunloadingthe
greensmowerstopreventsuddenunintended
tonguemovementorip-up.Thetrailertongue
shouldbeparalleltothegroundwhenyoualignit
withthetowvehiclehitch.
•Thetraileraddsextratowingweighttothevehicle.
Drivethevehiclesafely.
–Donotdrivethemachineonhighwaysorpublic
roads.
–Alwaysslowthetowvehiclewhenapproaching
andwhilemakingaturn.
–Alwaysslowthetowvehiclewhendrivingin
unfamiliarareasoroverroughterrain.
–Alwaysslowthetowvehiclewhenchanging
thedirectionoftravelorpreparingtostop.
–Alwaysslowthetowvehiclewhenturningor
drivingonslopes.
–Donotmakesuddenorsharpturns.Donot
suddenlychangedirectionoftravelonan
incline,ramp,grade,slope,orsimilarsurface.
–Themaximumtowingspeedis15mph(24
km/h).Alwaysadjustthetow-vehiclespeedto
allowforexistinggroundconditions,suchas
wetslicksurfaces,loosesandorgraveland/or
lowvisibilityconditions,suchasdimorbright
lighting,fog,mist,orrain.
–Beespeciallycarefulwhendrivingaheavily
loadedvehicledownaninclineorslope.Drive
thevehicleupanddownthefaceoftheslopes,
inclines,orgradeswheneverpossible.Donot
driveacrossthefaceofaslopeifatallpossible.
Thereisariskofupsettingthevehicle,which
canresultinseriousinjuryordeath.
•Beforebackingup,lookbehindyouandensure
thatitisclearofpeopleandobjects.Backup
slowlyandwatchthetrailermovementclosely.
•Useextremecautionandslowspeedwhen
backingupthetrailerandtowvehicle.
•Watchoutfortrafcwhennearorcrossingroads.
Alwaysyieldtherightofwaytopedestriansand
othervehicles.
•Ifthetrailerbeginstovibrateabnormally,stopthe
towvehicleimmediately.Shutoffthetow-vehicle
engine.Repairalldamagebeforetowing.
•Beforeservicingormakinganyadjustmentstothe
trailer,dothefollowing:
–Stopthetowvehicleandengagetheparking
brake.
–Shutoffthetow-vehicleengineandremove
thekey.
•Keepallfastenerstightenedsecurely.Replace
anypartsremovedwhenservicingormaking
adjustments.
