Procedure
1.Removethebatterypackfromitscarton,savingthe
cartonandallpackingmaterialforfutureuse.
Important:Savethecartonandallpacking
materials.Ifyoueverneedtoshipthebatteryfor
maintenance,warranty,orrecycling,youwillneed
thisspecialpackaging.
RefertotheInstallationInstructionsincluded
withtheBatteryShippingKit(aPDFleof
theseinstructionsisavailableatnochargefrom
www.toro.com).
2.Cutthecabletiesecuringthebatterychargertothe
batterybaseonthemachineandremovethecharger.
3.Disconnectthesmallconnectoronthepacktomachine
wiringharnessfromthemainwiringharness(Figure
12).
4.Removethetallnutthatsecurestherearofthebattery
basetothemachineframe(Figure8).

8.Securethebatterypacktothebaseusing6bolts(5/16
x1/2inch)andwashers.
Note:Torqueeachboltto11.3to14N-m(100to
130in-lb).
9.Lineupthetabsontheinsideoftheharnesspower
plugwiththeslotsinthebatterypackreceptacle.
Note:Presstheharnessconnectorintothebattery
connector(Figure10andFigure11).
