desiredoperatingposition(Figure28).

TurningontheMachine
1.EnsurethattheT-handleconnectoronthemain
wiringharnessisconnectedtothemainpowersupply
connector(Figure13).
2.Ensurethatthetractionandreeldriveleversarein
neutral.
3.MovethekeyswitchtotheStartpositionandholdit
untiltheInfoCenterLCDdisplaylightsup,thenrelease
ittotheRunposition.
TurningofftheMachine
1.Disengagethetractionandreeldrivecontrols.
2.TurnthekeyswitchtotheOffpositionandremove
thekey.
OperatingtheMachinein
TransportMode
Ifyouwon’tbeusingthetransportwheels,proceedtostep4.
1.Pushthekickstanddownwithyourfootandpullup
onthehandlesupportuntilthekickstandhasrotated
forward,overcenter.
2.Installthetransportwheels.
3.Toreleasethekickstand,pulluponthehandleand
lowertherearofthemowerontothetransportwheels.
4.Ensurethatthetractionandreeldriveleverisinneutral
andturnonthemachine.
5.SetthespeedcontroltoZero,engagethetractiondrive,
tipthefrontofthemachineup,andslowlyincreasethe
machinespeedtobeginmoving.
6.Adjustthespeedcontroltooperatethemoweratthe
desiredgroundspeedandtransportthemowertothe
desireddestination.
PreparingtoMow
1.ReturnthespeedcontroltotheZeroposition,
disengagethetractioncontrollever,andturnoffthe
machine.
2.Pushthekickstanddownwithyourfootandpullup
onthehandlesupportuntilthekickstandhasrotated
forward,overcenter.
3.Removethetransportwheels.
4.Carefullylowerthemachineoffofthekickstand.
MowingOperation
Properuseofthemachineprovidesthesmoothestturf
cuttingavailable.
Important:Grassclippingsactasalubricantwhen
mowing.Excessiveoperationofthecuttingunitwiththe
absenceofgrassclippingscandamagethecuttingunit.
PriortoMowing
Ensurethatthemoweriscarefullyadjustedandissetevenly
onbothsidesofthereel.Forbestperformanceandbattery
life,setthebedknifetohavealightcontactwiththereel.
Impropermoweradjustmentismagniedintheappearance
oftheclippedturf.Removeallforeignobjectsfromtheturf
priortomowing.Makesureeveryone,especiallychildrenand
pets,areclearoftheworkarea.
MethodofMowing
Thegreensshouldbemowedinastraightbackandforth
directionacrossthegreen.Avoidcircularmowingorturning
themoweronthegreensareassincescufngmayoccur.
Turningthemowershouldbedoneoffthegreenbyraising
thecuttingreel(pushingthehandledown)andturningonthe
