shouldbedoneatanormalwalkingpace.Fastspeedssave
verylittletimeandwillresultinaninferiormowingjob.
Toassistinmaintainingastraightlineacrossthegreenand
tokeepthemachineanequaldistancefromtheedgeofthe
previouscut,usethealignmentstripesonthebasket(Figure
29).

OperatingtheMachineinLowLight
Conditions
Whenoperatinginlowlightconditions,usetheLEDLight
Kit,Model04265.Thiskitisspeciallydesignedtoworkwell
withthebatterypackandelectricalsystem.
Important:Donotuseotherlightsystemswiththis
mowerastheymaydamagethebatterypackorelectrical
system.
OperatingtheMachine
1.Turnonthemachine,setthespeedcontroltotheZero
position,pushdownonthehandletoraisethecutting
unit,presstheoperatorpresencecontrol,movethe
tractionlevertotheEngagedposition(Figure30),and
graduallyincreasethespeedcontrolsettingtotransport
themowerontothecollarofthegreen.
2.ReturnthespeedcontroltotheZeroposition.
3.Disengagethetractionlever,thenmoveittothe
leftandforward,engagingthetractionandreeldrive
(Figure30).

4.Graduallyincreasethespeedcontrolsettinguntilthe
moweristravelingatthedesiredgroundspeed,drive
themoweroutontothegreenarea,lowerthefrontof
themowerdownandcommenceoperation.
Note:Whilemowing,youcanmovethespeedcontrol
totheZeroposition.Thiswillstopthemachinewith
themotorbrakeoff,allowingyoutopullthemachine
rearwardstomakecoursecorrections.Formore

AfterMowing
1.Driveoffthegreen,reducethespeedtotheZero
position,disengagethereeldriveandtractioncontrol
levers,andturnoffthemachine.
2.Emptythegrassbasketofclippings,installthegrass
basketonthemowerandcommencethetransport
operation.
