BeltTensioner
Thetransmissionbeltistensionedbyaspringloadedidler
pulley.Ifthebelttensionhastobeengaged/disengaged,usea
3/8inchwrenchtorotatetheengage/disengageshaft(Figure
44)tothedesiredposition.Rotatingtheshaft1/4turn
clockwisewilldisengagetheidlerfromthebelt(Figure45).
Note:Thebelttensionmustbedisengagedpriorto
removingthetransmissioncover.
Note:Thetransmissionbeltisproperlytensionedwhen
thealignmentmarksonthetransmissioncoverandthe
engagementshaftarealigned.
