Subject: Ball Joint Receiver (94-2959) Retainer Sleeve Repair
The Ball Joint Receiver has a spring loaded Ball Joint Sleeve (99-1461) that retains the
Ball Stud on the cutting unit or accessory. The Sleeve may wear or bend allowing the
Ball Stud to disconnect. Should this occur, the Ball Joint Sleeve (99-1461) can now be
replaced without replacing the complete Ball Joint Receiver (94-2959).
To replace the Sleeve, remove the Retainer Ring and old Sleeve. Install the new
Sleeve and re-install the Retainer Ring.
