Subject: Bumper (94-4548) may damage Cutting Unit Grass Shield.

Beginning in 2003, the carrier frames were equipped with Bumper (94-4548), however

their purpose was not clearly identified in the manual. These bumpers are only

intended to be used with DPA Cutting Units (Model 04610 and 04611). If your

greensmower is equipped with other cutting units, these bumpers must be removed or

damage to the cutting unit grass shield may result. Use the illustration below as a

reference.

Future Operator’s Manuals (2004 and up) will be changed to include this information.
