Subject: Traction Pump Shaft Seal leakage.
The traction Piston Pump (93-2586) may exhibit a hydraulic oil leak at the Input Shaft Seal
within 500 hours of operation, due to a spiral mark in the shaft surface (marks may not be
visible unless magnified). Attempts at repairing the leak with a new seal may result in a
repeat leak. A replacement shaft is required to correct the issue.
If your unit exhibits this issue, contact your local Toro distributor for an inspection and
repair to correct the problem.
