7.First,installthepositivecable(red)tothepositive
(+)terminalandthenthenegativecable(black)to
thenegative(–)terminalofthebatteryandsecure
themwiththeboltsandnuts(Figure7).Slidethe
rubberbootoverthepositiveterminaltopreventa
possibleshortfromoccurring.
Incorrectbatterycableroutingcoulddamage
thetractorandcablescausingsparks.Sparks
cancausethebatterygassestoexplode,
resultinginpersonalinjury.
•Alwaysdisconnectthenegative(black)
batterycablebeforedisconnectingthe
positive(red)cable.
•Alwaysconnectthepositive(red)battery
cablebeforeconnectingthenegative(black)
cable.
